How can I apply?

You may apply for a position with our Company any Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or you may fill out our form on the Careers page

What are the minimum qualifications for any position with Cox Manufacturing?

• Cox Manufacturing is a drug-free workplace and does conduct a post-offer, pre-employments drug screen.  We can and commit to random drug screening
• Must have stable work history
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a basic math test
• Our minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED
• Expected to meet minimum requirements for position you are considering 

When will I hear back regarding the results of my application?

Due to the high amount of applications received, if you do not hear from us within 3 weeks, we will not be moving forward with your application; therefore, it will not be necessary for you to call or e-mail or visit our facility.

How often may I apply?

You may apply once a year.

What can I expect if I apply in person?

In addition to completing an application, you will be taking a math test and a pre-employment assessment.

• Be prepared to be here approximately 45 minutes.
• We recommend that you review our website before coming.
• You may be given a shop tour which may impact the length of your visit

What is the starting pay?

• Pay is based on position and experience.
• Machinist Apprentices start at $16.00 per hour.
• Shift differential is $2.50 / $3.50 per hour

When is payday?

The first paycheck is received 1 week after the first Friday worked, then employees are paid weekly. Direct deposit is available.

What are your benefits?

We have a competitive benefit package. Employees are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. 

What are your work hours?

Cox Manufacturing runs 3 shifts in our production area. New hires start on day shift, and apprentice candidates are expected to accept at least one of the other alternative shifts. Shifts are not rotating, but employees may be assigned to various shifts for periods of time to acommodate customer needs and staff development.

• 7:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.
• 3:00 p.m. till 11:00 p.m. ($2.50 / $3.50 per hour shift differential)
• 11:00 p.m. till 7:30 a.m. ($2.50 / $3.50 per hour shift differential)
