We care about our employees’ health—physical, mental, and financial. Every month, employees attend a meeting addressing common health issues. Employees also get the chance to participate in employee-led contests throughout the year.

All new employees are encouraged to attend Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, a 10-lesson weekly course completely paid for by Cox, to learn how to never worry about money again. Sessions are held locally in a small group setting for community, motivation, and accountability.

Cox employees have access to attend optional weekly lunch meetings to discuss personal and spiritual subjects and foster a sense of community within the company. Meetings are on designated days for male and female employees to comfortably address more personal issues.

Every employee (and their family) has access to thousands of resources on the RightNow Media online library and app, including family-friendly favorites like “VeggieTales”, as well as valuable content for personal care, focusing on subjects such as marriage, parenting, finances, and mental health. 

Cox offers an 80% contribution towards tuition for employees interested in having their children attend a fully accredited local private Christian school with small classes in a wholesome environment.

Weekend to Remember is a two-and-a-half-day getaway for couples to invest in and strengthen the foundation of their relationship in a distraction-free, biblically-centered setting. Cox provides a special hotel and registration discount for employees that are new or returning guests.

Cox has partnered with Marketplace Chaplains to provide the employees with confidants that build relationships of trust and friendship. Both male and female chaplains are available on-site weekly to discuss personal and spiritual issues and extend support for the emotional well-being of employees and their family members.
